Great news! Our team PA 11U Baseball is now using TeamSnap, an online system that will make it easier for me to manage team logistics, update and distribute the team schedule, easily communicate with everyone -- and a whole bunch more.  One of the main benefits is that you can "subscribe" to the PA Lions 11U Baseball calendar and it will automatically load in the calendar and will update automatically with any changes that are made.  For Instance:

1.  If you use Apple iCal, Microsoft Outlook 2007+ or any iCal-compatible desktop calendar application you can "subscribe" to your TeamSnap Schedule and have your full schedule of games and events show up automatically in your calendar.

2.  If you use Google Calendar, another web-based calendar, or just want to do things manually, you can also copy and paste the link directly into your calendar program (normally in the "Subscribe By URL" area):

The second biggest benefit is that each of you can go in and mark your son’s availability for practices and games.  This is very helpful for us coaches so we can effectively schedule and create game rotations and practice plans.  So I will want everyone to please keep that updated for your kids on the website.

 TeamSnap does lots of cool things, but most importantly it will help us make sure everyone knows where and when the next practice or game is, even if there are last minute changes. And it won’t cost you anything!

 What do you need to do? Just follow the instructions in the invitation email to join our team online – it only takes about 30 seconds (One more note - since this invitation is going out to each parent - you can determine if you want to create one account for the family, or one for each of you.  either one is fine).

 Finally, they also have an Iphone and Android app that allows you to take advantage of the teamsnap features right on your phone including the ability to see our calendar and to update your kid’s availability for practice and games.  It is very easy to use and makes it easy to see the schedule and set availability.
